What is ClearCorrect?

ClearCorrect is a transparent aligner system used to help discretely straighten your teeth. At Campbell Dental Arts, we will make you a custom aligner tray that will fit over your top and bottom teeth. Over time, you will wear different trays, which will make your teeth straighter and straighter until you reach your goal.

What Conditions can ClearCorrect fix?

ClearCorrect can repair several different conditions from an overbite, underbite, crossbite, and more. ClearCorrect can fix almost every situation that traditional braces can, with some exceptions. Improving these conditions can restore the appearance of your smile and the overall health of your teeth. For example, a common concern that patients have is misaligned teeth. Teeth that are misaligned or overcrowded can cause oral health concerns because they can be challenging to clean. If your teeth are crowded, they may be more likely to develop dental decay or gum disease because it is hard to clean all around the tooth. With a procedure such as ClearCorrect, you can straighten your teeth, making them easier to clean and less likely to develop tooth decay.

How do ClearCorrect Aligners Work?

To get ClearCorrect aligners, we first recommend visiting your dentist, Dr. Campbell, for a consultation. During this consultation, you will discuss your dental goals with your dentist. Then, they will take an impression of your teeth. We will send this impression to a lab where the set of ClearCorrect aligners is made. We recommend that you wear the ClearCorrect aligners for 22 hours per day. Additionally, it would help if you visited our office every one to two weeks for a new set of clear aligners. With each setting of clear aligners, you will get closer and closer to reaching your desired appearance.

What are the Advantages of ClearCorrect?

Many patients love ClearCorrect because they are comfortable, easy to use, and provide excellent results. ClearCorrect aligners use a thinner plastic material compared to Invisalign. Many patients believe that the aligners are more comfortable and flexible because of this.

Patients love clear aligners like ClearCorrect because they have the freedom to remove the aligners whenever they like. With traditional braces, patients wear the braces for months or years without removing them. With ClearCorrect, patients should remove their aligners when eating or cleaning their teeth.

Ability to Eat What You Want

As mentioned above, patients should remove their aligners when eating. Patients can eat anything they like including chewy, sticky, and hard foods. These foods are not allowed using traditional braces because they can damage the braces or cause hard-to-remove buildup.

Healthier Teeth

Patients with clear aligners typically have fewer dental concerns after treatment than patients with traditional braces. Patients often have slight gum disease or dental decay with conventional braces because areas were hard to clean during treatment. With ClearCorrect, patients can remove their aligners and brush, floss, and use mouthwash to clean their teeth.

How do I Care for My Teeth with ClearCorrect?

Many patients ask us if there are special instructions to care for their teeth while using ClearCorrect. The only special instructions we give is to brush your teeth after every meal and rinse off your aligners before placing them back into your mouth. After each meal, cleaning your teeth will help prevent bacteria and debris from getting stuck between your teeth and your aligners.

ClearCorrect clear aligners are a great solution to straighten your teeth while being discrete. For more information about ClearCorrect aligners or to schedule your appointment, call us today.
